May my eyes not be blinded to see the truth and obedience to Your will. May my heart be not hardened to receive Your word. Lord Jesus Christ, counselor of all who come for Your aid and seek Your guidance, help me that in all decisions. Heavenly Father, I come before You, placing my deepest and heartfelt desires at Your feet.I have a decision to make.Lord, I want it to be in accordance with Your will and plans for my life. Thank You for Your guidance and direction in this situation. Help me to undertake and carry out this decision-making process accurately and objectively. Instead, help me to perceive and choose what is best for my department or company, regardless of how Keep me from acting in haste but also from delaying too long to reach a decision.įather, help me not to be influenced by my own personal wants or desires concerning this matter under consideration. Help me, Father, to hear Your voice, and so to make the right and correct decision in this case. Help me to get the information I need and to evaluate it carefully and wisely. Help me to properly evaluate both the positive and negative attributes of this situation. I ask You, Lord, to help me see both sides of this issue and to consider all the facts involved in it. It is a difficult one for me to make in the natural, but I know that with You it can be an easy one. In Jesus name, amen.įather, I bring this decision before You. Heavenly Father, your word tells us in James 1:5 that if anyone asks for wisdom, you will give it. Help me to see it clearly and obey.īless me with a spirit of humility, I pray. That is what I'm seeking to do today and throughout this whole process: to humble myself and be completely open to hearing from you. In 1 Peter 5:6 it says, Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. I don't want things to be about me I want them to be about you and your plans and purposes for my life. Give me a spirit of humility and graciousness.Īlthough this is a difficult decision for me, help me to follow Jesus's example on the cross when he said, Not my will, but thy will be done. Father, as I go about making this decision, help me to be humble and seek your face continually.
